(February 17, 2012) Saginaw Future Celebrates 20 Years of Growth at ANNUAL AWARDS Luncheon Saginaw Future Inc.
(SFI) celebrated its 20th Anniversary at its ANNUAL AWARDS Luncheon, which was attended by almost 400 business and community leaders at Saginaw Valley State University.

(December 18, 2012) TEAMTECH Motorsports “Empowers” Dominican Republic School
President and owner Curt L. Tucker of TEAMTECH Motorsports Safety, Inc., located at 6285 Bay Road in Kochville Township, recently traveled to Dominican Republic to assist in the development of an impoverished school. The TEAMTECH president traveled more than 12 hours to the City of Guaymate, to determine the feasibility for green energy resources and support continuing education for the students.

(December 2, 2011) Saginaw Future’s Lindsey Zion Certified Economic Development Finance Professional
Recently Lindsey Zion, economic development assistant for Saginaw Future, received certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) from the National Development Council (NDC). EDFP Certification is a professional credential given to individuals who successfully complete NDC’s intensive economic development finance training series.

(November 11, 2011) Great Lakes Solar Technology Park Breaks Ground!
Saginaw County, the Region and the State today celebrated the groundbreaking of the Great Lakes Solar Technology Park. Local leaders and economic developers worked with the State of Michigan to develop the 231-acre Solar Technology Park with parcels potentially available for no cost.

(October 26, 2011) $365 Million Invested in Saginaw County Advanced Manufacturing
State of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder attended back-to-back announcements that will have a significant impact on Saginaw County's automotive sector and all of the Great Lakes Bay Region. GM Saginaw Metal Casting Operations and Nexteer Automotive will invest a combined total of $365 million that will create and retain nearly 1,300 direct jobs.

(June 17, 2011) $11 million Invested in Saginaw County
In the 1st quarter of 2011, Saginaw Future (SF) assisted eight companies that invested nearly $11 million, creating and retaining 927 jobs. Also, seven regional companies won 23 government contracts valued at more than $75 million.
