Reappointed to MEDC Board

T. Crary, president of Saginaw Future Inc. has been reappointed by
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm to the Michigan Economic Development
Corporation (MEDC) Executive Committee. The MEDC is the economic
development organization for the State of Michigan.
Crary will represent the private sector for a term expiring
April 5, 2015. She was first appointed to the MEDC Executive Committee at
its inception in April, 1999.
“JoAnn Crary is an important contributor to the MEDC
Executive Committee,” Governor Jennifer M. Granholm said. “Her proven
leadership and experience have been instrumental in bringing jobs and
investment to Michigan. Through her continued service, she will help pilot
our transitioning economy toward a vibrant future.”
In addition to the MEDC Executive Committee, Crary is a
member of its Finance Committee and is on the CEO’s Practitioners Council.
In 2006, she was elected to serve on the board of the International Economic
Development Council.
Crary is also a board member for the Saginaw Community
Foundation, Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, Saginaw Valley State
University Board of Fellows, Saginaw County Revolving Loan Fund Committee
and a number of other public and private boards.
