Nearly $6.6 Million in
Government Contracts for First Quarter

The Saginaw Future Inc. Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
assisted seven regional companies attain nearly $6.6 million in government
contracts. The companies won a total of 58 federal government contracts.
The numerous products and services provided include specialized aerospace
equipment, metal fabrication and medical device products.
The federal government is a multi-billion dollar purchaser of goods and
services. States and local governments are also major purchasers of products
and services. The Saginaw Future Inc. PTAC provides no fee assistance to
businesses that are interested in tapping this market. SFI’s Procurement
Manager, Delena Spates-Allen, has over 20 years of expertise to help
businesses acquire federal and state government contracts.
The services offered by the Saginaw Future Inc. PTAC include bid matching
service, market research, specifications and standards, federal acquisition
regulations, subcontracting opportunities and much more. During 2008, the
Saginaw Future Inc. PTAC helped regional companies win a total of 222
government contracts with a total value of nearly $34 million.

released.
