Delena Spates-Allen

Delena Spates-Allen, is the Procurement Manager at Saginaw Future, a non-profit, economic development organization. She has held that position since 1993. Spates-Allen completed her undergraduate degree from Northwood University. She received a Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from The George Washington University’s School of Business.

Spates-Allen is a member of the Michigan Alliance for APEX Accelerators, a not-for-profit organization that enhance national defense and economic development of the State of Michigan by assisting businesses in obtaining and performing on federal, state, and local government contracts. She is currently the Treasurer for the organization. She has served on the board since 2007 in many capacities. She also own her own business, as well as working with her children in their businesses.

Delena serves on local boards and commissions including the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation, the Saginaw County Planning Commission, and the Saginaw Valley State University Diversity Advisory Council.
