Letter from the Chair
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am proud to reflect on a strong and impactful year for Saginaw Future Inc. in 2025. Together with our public and private partners, we advanced projects that strengthened Saginaw County’s economy, supported business growth, and positioned our community for long-term success.
This year, Saginaw County saw continued momentum in manufacturing, logistics, and emerging industries, along with new capital investment and job creation. Strategic site development, infrastructure readiness, and talent initiatives helped make our county competitive in a challenging economic environment.
Equally important, we deepened partnerships across the Great Lakes Bay Region and demonstrated that collaboration remains our greatest asset. These accomplishments reflect the resilience, innovation, and commitment of our businesses, workforce, and communities.
Thank you for your continued support and belief in Saginaw County’s future.

Saginaw Future 2025 Annual Report
Established in 1992, SFI is a private, non-profit economic development organization. SFI is an alliance of local businesses, the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, the County and City of Saginaw, 16 local municipalities, education, labor organizations and local foundations.
Saginaw Future assists companies to secure or identify funding sources, incentive packaging, provides site location services, pursues government contracts, connects with export assistance, job training and other resources. SFI also serves as an advocate for business investment projects, connects with resources to address workforce needs and serves as a community liaison through our service contracts with local and state government partners. SFI also continues to promote efforts to attract and develop talent.

Saginaw Future works with an 8-county region that includes Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw Counties. The region is working on several initiatives, such as business attraction efforts.
