Beth Roszatycki has been added to the team at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU). She is joining SVSU and taking the lead at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as its new regional director. Roszatycki will supervise a team of seven employees which cover Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties, along with all counties up to the Mackinac Bridge, between I-75 and Lake Huron. Previously she was the CEO of MiHIA, a role she held since 2014. 

In 2019, the SBDC transitioned to SVSU to become part of the Scott L. Carmona College of Business. With the 2019 transition, the new SBDC regional center located at Saginaw Valley combined the staff of the Great Lakes Bay and Northeast Regions. This newly configured staff now represents and consults with the most counties in the State of Michigan.

Over the past three months, the resources at the SBDC have been highly utilized by many regional small business owners
